October Update: Serving at Casa Aleluya in Guatemala
In October, we embarked on an incredible journey to Guatemala, taking a devoted team of 11 to serve at Casa Aleluya, a nurturing children’s home. Our time there was filled with outreach, love, and impactful service, as we aimed to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
During our trip, we spent two days in the village, partnering with Provee Ministry and Radical Missions to reach out to the local community. One of the highlights was visiting the site where we partnered with Souls One Church to help plant a new church in the village, fostering hope and faith within the community.
We also facilitated a medical clinic, treating over 100 families while providing essential food bags and clothing to those in need. This initiative not only addressed practical needs but also allowed us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and pray with many families. The joy of seeing hope restored was truly inspiring!
Another day of outreach took us to a different village with Hilmar, where we distributed suitcases filled with supplies to homes, along with essential water filters. The connections we made there were heartwarming, as we preached the gospel and prayed for countless individuals. We rejoice in celebrating the salvation of four souls during this outreach, as their practical needs were met in the process. To God be the glory!
We are immensely grateful for the support and prayers from everyone who has believed in our mission. Your encouragement enables us to continue bringing hope and love to communities in need.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us, and stay tuned for more updates on our ministry work!
Blessings,
Christine Atkinson
