March Reflection at Fine China Ministry
March was an incredibly busy and uplifting month for Fine China Ministry as we continued to grow and serve our community. We meet every second and fourth Friday of the month for equipping, and this March, Pastor Justin Searls blessed us with a powerful message on the Holy Spirit, deepening our spiritual understanding and connection.
The last Friday of the month marked the beginning of our journey through Joyce Meyers’ insightful book, “Me and My Big Mouth.” This study focuses on the significance of our words and what the Bible teaches about them. The discussions have been impactful, prompting growth in our lives and conversations as Christians.
In addition to our spiritual pursuits, March saw a significant increase in popcorn sales, requiring us to dedicate two Tuesdays each month to popcorn making. This all-day event involves our dedicated team arriving at 12:30 PM and working until 8 or 9 PM. The energy and camaraderie in the kitchen is a testament to the passion we have for our ministry!
Moreover, God has blessed us with a new opportunity for community outreach through monthly food drops led by Pastor Carolyn. This month, we were able to provide fresh produce, including cabbage, carrots, sweet potatoes, onions, bananas, and oranges, to around 20 families in need. In a special act of kindness, our team also delivered meals to a young man in Jane Frazier Village and helped clean his home due to his physical limitations.
It’s inspiring to witness the true servants of God who make up our Fine China family, each with a heart to help others. As Mother Teresa wisely said, “I have gifts and talents that you don’t have, and you have gifts and talents that I don’t have; but together we can do great things.” This sentiment perfectly captures the spirit of collaboration at Fine China—everyone coming together to do great things!
I am profoundly grateful for the wonderful people God has surrounded me with in ministry. Excitingly, God has also opened the door for us to participate in our first vendor event in April. Please join us in prayer as we embark on this new journey, eager to see what the Lord has in store for us!
