Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we reflect on the blessings of April, I am filled with gratitude for all that God has accomplished through our ministry this month. His faithfulness continues to shine bright, and I’m excited to share some remarkable highlights!
Community Support Through Popcorn Sales
This April, I had a heartfelt desire to host a vendor event featuring popcorn, and God opened a door in my hometown where I grew up. This event was special not only because of the delicious popcorn but also because it served a greater purpose. We rallied together as a team and popped over 60 bags of popcorn, making April our biggest month in sales to date!
In addition to the vendor event, our regular sales contributed significantly to our success this month. With Easter approaching, everyone was eager to include popcorn in their Easter baskets, which drove demand even higher. I’m thrilled to share that Mercy Outreach generously donated a popcorn machine for us to use, making it easier to meet this demand.
I also want to thank CFA for partnering with us for the vendor event and providing a basket to raffle off! Thanks to your support, we were able to make a financial donation to help a local 4-year-old boy recently diagnosed with cancer. Moreover, the proceeds also went towards aiding children in Guatemala. It was a successful day, and I’m incredibly grateful for every customer who participated!
Exciting Raffle and Launch of Missionary Bootcamp
In addition to our vendor event, we held a popcorn raffle throughout the month. Everyone who purchased a bag was entered into a drawing, and I’m thrilled to announce that Dee McGreevy was our lucky winner of the popcorn basket! Thank you to all our popcorn customers for your support.
April also marked the launch of my Missionary Bootcamp series on my YouTube channel, aimed at equipping those who feel called to serve on the mission field. We reached over 300 viewers with the first episode—what a wonderful start! Each month, I’ll be posting a new video, and I’m excited to share that May’s episode will be titled “Faith Over Fear.”
Fine China Gatherings and Powerful Lessons
Our Fine China group met twice this month, diving into Joyce Meyer’s book, “Me and My Big Mouth.” This study has been transformative as we learn to be mindful of the power our words hold. I’m grateful for the fellowship and growth we share during our gatherings.
A special thank you to Carolyn Hanlin, who has been faithfully serving us with delicious hot meals during our meetings. Her culinary skills are a true blessing!
Upcoming Mission Trip and Community OutreachIn
April, I also announced my upcoming trip to Burundi, Africa, in August, where I will be ministering at a Teen Challenge and at Key of Life Church with Pastor Alexis. Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for this incredible opportunity!
Additionally, I had the privilege to minister at the Union Rescue Mission, where our team served meals to the community. During the chapel service, God moved powerfully, and several people responded for prayer. One woman, whose life has impacted mine, came forward to renounce fear, seizures and surrender her witchcraft jewelry, including a necklace and multiple rings. She had a genuine encounter with the Holy Spirit and was baptized with His fire—what a powerful moment to witness!
Gratitude for Our Supporters
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the helpers, givers, intercessors, and servers who make this ministry possible. Thank you for your prayers and support. May God continue to increase and expand our territory as we work together to serve Him.
